6. Tanning & Pre-Tan Prep:
For those booking tanning or doing their own, please follow the pre-tan preparation guidelines:

Pre-Tan Prep (1 Week Before Show):

Exfoliate lightly each day and moisturise.

Stop exfoliating and moisturising 48 hours before your base coat.

Avoid deodorants and creams 24 hours before your base coat.

On Show Day:

Bring an old towel to stand on in the tanning tent.

Men will be provided with a sock to cover genitalia, and ladies will receive a hairnet.

Remove all clothing and jewellery during the tanning process. Barrier cream will be applied to protect your nails.

Important Notes:

Do not shower or apply creams or deodorants after your base coat.

Wear loose-fitting clothing after tanning to avoid damaging your tan.

Avoid socks and carrying bags on your shoulders to prevent marks or streaks.

Top Coat:

Arrive at your scheduled time with no creams or deodorants applied.

Your base coat will be checked, and any adjustments will be made before applying the top coat.

After the top coat, avoid showering until after you’ve competed.

Stage Preparation:

Tanning professionals will be backstage to ensure your tan is flawless before you go on stage.

Glaze will be applied right before you step on stage.

Additional Reminders:

If you’re using bikini bite, please be aware that there have been some issues with the bottles breaking and spilling, which can affect your tan. We recommend avoiding it.

7. Stage Photography:

Make sure you’ve booked your stage photography, you can do this post show but best to avoid disappointment and book prior: https://www.pcaofficial-ireland.com/photography
